More than 10 years ago, I started trying to capture the people I love and the things they love doing. In college as a music education major and a friendship enthusiast, I had no shortage of passionate subjects to photograph.
Over the years I have had quite a winding path working at a TV station, being a professional mascot, a master’s degree in education, and living and working in a college dorm until age 28… but after all that, I’ve sorted my cup-fillers into two categories: creating art that moves the heart, and being in community with good people.

After a few years of photojournalism and portraiture, I stumbled into the wedding world with the help of a couple mentors -- and I was HOOKED on day one. Nothing could compete with the raw joy and connection on the other side of my lens. And, while any artist can tell the story of your wedding, I find particular joy in the people side of things: grabbing a tissue for your mother-in-law, making friends with your ring bearer, herding the extended family in and out for a quick photo, and setting my camera down at the end of the night to do the wobble with you.
When we develop a day-of timeline together, we’ll start by identifying what you value and what you want your day to look like, and I will advocate for you to maximize that quality time with your loved ones while making sure we have enough time set aside to capture those Hallmark moments.
